Happy 2020, foodies! With this epic events list, maybe hold off on your New Year Diet until February. There are way too many events to enjoy this month, like a killer slider competition, multiple beer fests, and National Glazed Donut Day! (Yep, we’re marking our calendars.) So start this new decade off right, and dive right into these awesome events.

With all of these food, drink, and music festivals in and around Virginia this August, there’s no excuse to be bored.

Feeling those annual end-of-summer blues? Well, you can forget ‘em! Fall is all-out awesome in Virginia, especially for those of us who love a good meal (or two.) The Harvest season means there’s a smorgasbord of good stuff coming out of farm and field this time of year. Harvest festivals are pretty common, but we think that Virginia has something special when it comes to getting out there and celebrating the season.

The holiday season is upon us and the nagging feeling of the holiday shopping is creeping in. If you’d rather skip Black Friday and stay at home making the perfect Thanksgiving left-over sandwich, we feel you. Thus, we put together a list of great local products you can get for everyone on your list (you’re welcome!)

Our foodies come from all types of backgrounds. One of our favorite foodies, full-time hair salon owner and part-time artisanal home cocktail enthusiast, made this killer drink with Virginia moonshine from Belle Isle. It was simple and amazing, so we had to share. Cheers!
