Gear Up For Adventures and Brews at Devils Backbone Hoopla Fest

Do you love beer? Do you love adventure? Well then come join us in enjoying this year’s Hoopla Fest! This annual soirée is hosted by Devil’s Backbone Brewing Company and takes place on their gorgeous property nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Nelson County, VA. Hoopla Fest is happening September 29-October 1st, so mark your calendars!

Devil’s Backbone is a Virginia institution, so it makes sense that they would host the ultimate beer lover’s festival right here in the Commonwealth (they even brew a special one-off Hoopla brew every year). Come early if you want to sample this unique beer, because it’s served on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you’re more of a try-anything type, there’s a mini-beer fest called Pop-Toberfest where you can taste rare beers from a number of Virginia breweries. Again, you gotta get there quick, because Pop-toberfest ends when the beer runs out…
There are also a wide variety of non-alcoholic activities taking place during the weekend for adults and kiddos alike. In addition to the energetic afternoon concerts featuring Virginia bands, festival-goers have their pick of guided scenic hikes, morning yoga classes, yard game tournaments, and more.
