July is National Culinary Arts Month, and Virginia sure has plenty to celebrate! This month brings us lots of music, food, and restaurant events to satisfy your foodie cravings. It’s also National Grilling Month, so dive into all that GOOD grilled food. Plenty of flowers and fruits hit their peak this time of year, so check out the list below to enjoy everything July offers!

Virginia’s rich history carries with it some time-tested traditions for making good alcohol, and these distilleries have raised the bar by adding a modern touch. From across the Old Dominion, we found foodie treasures bottled with class in good company and aged atmosphere.

To kick off Virginia Spirits Month, we recreated this classic Pre-Prohibition cocktail. We used Silver Dolphin Gin from Three Brothers Distillery. It’s a cask-aged gin, which lends itself nicely to the flavors in the Clover Club.
