Harrisonburg-based company Red Root & Co produces plant-based, small batch oxymels, shrubs, tonics, syrups, and bitters in the herbalist tradition. Their Hops & Citrus Bitters is a finalist in the 2021 Good Food Awards, which are a key part of the Good Food Foundation’s mission to highlight the importance of social and environmental responsibility in food production, in addition to having superior flavor and craftsmanship.

Celebrated Miami-based counter casual eatery DIRT has announced that it will be opening its first location outside Miami in Ballston, VA today – Wednesday, April 17th – within the highly anticipated Ballston Exchange from Jamestown LP.
