Celebrate Virginia Craft Beer Month with Whistle Belly

DoG Street Pub and the Junior Woman’s Club of Williamsburg (JWCW) presents Whistle Belly Beer and Food Festival on Sunday, August 6 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. This festival will be held at Merchants Square in the parking lot behind DoG Street Pub.

Step up and claim a ticket for the hottest show in town! Whistle Belly was named Veer Magazine’s 2016 “Best Outdoor Beer Festival.” In honor of Virginia Craft Beer Month, DoG Street Pub is returning with a state fair inspired theme featuring sweet and savory offerings such as funnel cakes, beer snow cones, fried brisket, nachos, a taco stand along with giant jenga and corn hole.

“We are excited to kick this year’s Whistle Belly off with VIP early admission to sample rare beers. It is an honor for a brewery to set aside something special for our festival for a great cause,” says Lauren Moore, General Manager of DoG Street Pub and Whistle Belly organizer.

Attendees can enjoy early entry hour at 11:30 a.m. sponsored by Chesapeake Bank and Wealth Management. VIP early admission is $70, which includes 12 additional beers.General admission is $50 for unlimited food and drink and food and drink only tickets are also available. This year 30 local breweries will have over 60 beers available for sampling.

Whistle Belly attendees will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive discounted Brews that Benefit ticket for $20 (regular $25) hosted by Alewerks Brewing Company on September 30, 2017.
