Celebrate Founder’s Day at Monticello

Monticello in Charlottesville will mark the 274th anniversary of Thomas Jefferson’s birth with a celebration and ceremony on the West Lawn, Thursday, April 13th. The event will feature a keynote address by Chef Alice Waters. Waters, founder of the Edible Schoolyard Project and chef and owner of Chez Panisse Restaurant in California, is the recipient of the 2017 Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medal in Citizen Leadership. Following the address, the birthday celebration will continue with live music and cake! Find more event details and info here.
