This ain’t your Grandma’s recipe! This unique holiday pie features red wine, pears and cranberries. Spices like star anise, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and orange zest gives it a kick and a distinct flavor profile. If you’re a baking extraordinaire like Arley is, feel free to gussy up the pie crust by creating a lattice pattern and cutting out some seasonal shapes from leftover dough, and if you’re not, well, that’s okay too.
