To kick off Virginia Spirits Month, we recreated this classic Pre-Prohibition cocktail. We used Silver Dolphin Gin from Three Brothers Distillery. It’s a cask-aged gin, which lends itself nicely to the flavors in the Clover Club.

It’s September, which means summer is winding down, but it doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of festivities to enjoy. This month is packed with food, wine, beer, and cider festivals to celebrate these last days of warmer weather. Check out our list below for some outdoor foodie fun.

Working with their team, we developed the Harvest Party campaign. Our photography and graphics were designed to entice our followers to throw a Harvest Party to celebrate Virginia Wine Month by serving Virginia wines and locally-produced food. Custom hashtags and a giveaway campaign helped spread the message beyond our immediate audience.

You can be forgiven for being unfamiliar with, even skeptical of, the term “Virginia barbecue.” When most people think barbecue epicenters, they probably think North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Kansas City—but not necessarily the Old Dominion. And while you’ve long been able to enjoy fantastic American barbecue in the state of multiple styles, homegrown Virginian preparations are enjoying a smokin’-hot, finger-lickin’-good revival well worth celebrating.

Happy September, foodies! Fall is kicking off in the Commonwealth, and there are tons of events state-wide to help you celebrate–including the start of our very own State Fair! September is also the beginning of Oyster Season and Oktoberfest so you know this month is gonna be fun!
